Prime Minister Imran Khan's Special Assistant for Health Dr. Zafar Mirza has said in a Press Conference that the number of patients on ventilators is also increasing and at present, 157 people across the country are on ventilators.
 
During a press conference, Zafar Mirza said that corona cases and deaths are increasing rapidly in Pakistan. 

He said that the number of patients on ventilators is also increasing and 157 people across the country are on ventilators, only those patients whose lungs stop working go on ventilators.
Mirza said that the highest number of 57 patients died in the last 24 hours, which is the highest number of deaths in a single day from Corona in Pakistan so far. 

He also said that so far more than 520,000 corona tests have been done in Pakistan while 35% of the patients in the country have fully recovered.
 
It may be recalled that the number of cases of the deadly virus is increasing rapidly in the country and so far 1334 people have died due to the deadly virus while the number of infected patients has reached more than 64,000.

Four doctors have lost their lives across Pakistan in 24 hours

Dr. Sana Fatima was serving in a private hospital in Lahore, passed away at the age of 39.
According to her family sources, Dr. Sana Fatima was a pathologist and had been suffering from coronavirus for several days.
 
In Gujranwala, senior doctor and psychologist Dr. Naeem Akhtar also died due to deadly coronavirus.
Dr. Khanzada from Afghanistan also died in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while Dr. Zubair Ahmad, in-charge of the BMC Trauma Center in Quetta, Balochistan, also passed away.
 
In addition, doctors and medical staff are also affected by Coronavirus. Medical Superintendent (MS), General Hospital Lahore, Dr. Mahmood Salahuddin has also gone to quarantine after contracting corona symptoms.
